Our Services
Our Homes
Each of our homes has been thoughtfully designed to support individuals living with dementia by creating a safe, comfortable, and easy-to-navigate environment that feels just like home. Spacious common areas encourage social connection and meaningful engagement, while our highly trained caregivers provide individualized support with an low caregiver-to-resident ratio. Every detail of our homes is intentionally designed to promote dignity, independence, familiarity, and a sense of belonging.
Life at the Farm
At Prairie Elder Care, we believe joy comes from being engaged in life—not simply from filling a calendar with activities. Every shared meal, lively conversation, walk outdoors, laugh, celebration, and everyday moment is an opportunity to connect, discover purpose, and experience joy. We create opportunities for residents to be active participants in their days, surrounded by people who know them, value their stories, and celebrate what makes them uniquely who they are. With a deep respect for each person’s individuality, our team nurtures independence, dignity, connection, and a true sense of belonging—creating an environment where residents can continue to live fully, find meaning in each day, and experience the simple pleasures that make life worth celebrating.
Nurse-Led. Purpose-Driven. Dementia Care at the Highest Level.
Prairie Elder Care was built around a shared belief: people living with dementia deserve more than supervision - they deserve a life filled with Community, Connection and Control.
Our ownership brings together two complementary areas of expertise. As a nurse co-owned dementia care community, we bring a clinical perspective directly into the operation of our homes. Our co-owner's extensive background in activities and engagement helps ensure that meaningful purpose and quality of life remain at the center of everything we do. Our leaders have completed the highest level of specialized dementia training, and this expertise influences how we train our caregivers making sure they have the knowledge and tools to understand the complexities of dementia.
At Prairie Elder Care, clinical knowledge, dementia expertise, and meaningful engagement come together in a small-home environment. We don't simply care for people living with dementia. We work to understand the person, preserve their abilities, create purpose, and help them continue to live a meaningful life.
