Prairie Elder Care exists to provide a life worth living for people with dementia. Our small home design and engagement approach delivers the highest quality of care. Each residents’ personal strengths help us understand where they find joy and purpose. Together, we take the time to learn each family’s story to give back community, connection and control.

Two Daughters’ Love
Mandy and Michala are sisters-in-law. Prairie was conceived as a result of their own family’s need to help Mandy’s father. Through their own journey they discovered many others struggling with dementia care. Over the course of multiple family gatherings and holidays, Mandy and Michala determined a plan to take action. First starting a service for families frustrated in the search for answers, then later beginning Prairie Elder Care in 2014 to solve the quality gap on their own.
